Glimpses of Cases Helped By Arpan

A 17 years old female unable to use right upper limb due to severe post burns contractures. She had stiff neck and painful opening of the mouth, with constant pain in many non healing ulcers.

She has undergone six reconstructive plastic surgery procedures and is able to work now with her right upper limb and can move the neck and her mouth with comfort.

A 24 years old female with deep skin and bone burns of entire upper face, forehead and scalp. She was abandoned by the husband who could not afford treatment. She underwent five reconstructive plastic surgery procedures and is back to her family very much acceptable.
22 years old female could not move her neck or close her mouth due to severe burns.

She underwent two reconstructive plastic surgery procedures for her neck and face to get back her movements of the mouth and neck.
14 years old female could not move her legs apart. She had difficulty in passing urine.

She underwent one reconstructive plastic surgery procedures  to make her more comfortable both for moving and voiding urine.

5 years old male child  could not walk or straighten his right leg due to bad post roadside accident contractures.

After two plastic surgery procedures he is able to run again and play with other children.

28 years old widow female could not move her neck freely and was ridiculed by her colony members for her looks.

She underwent one reconstructive plastic surgery procedures  to make her more comfortable both with her movements of the neck and community.

16 years old female could not afford lip repair surgery.

After a single operation she is now acceptable by the society to work as a domestic help.
